The Starline heat pumps have been specially designed for the efficient heating of swimming pool water. The heat is extracted from the air and compressed to a higher temperature. With this process, the heat is transferred directly to the swimming pool water. This is an ideal system for heating an outdoor swimming pool. The water usually has to be heated up to 26-30 °C, which means that a very high COP (Coefficient of Performance) value can be reached due to the low condensation temperature. The proportional monitoring and heating cycle, along with the direct coupling to the Starline Poolcontrol results in optimum use and therefore efficiency. The Starline heat pumps have a high COP value of 6.2 at a water/air temperature of 25 °C. This results in an efficiency of 620%, or to put it another way, with the Starline heat pump, you get 6.2 kW heat efficiency for 1 kW of electrical energy. Compared to a high efficiency CV boiler, the efficiency of a Starline heat pump is about double!
