Starline UV-C-disinfection, in addition to dosing, provides an efficient and environmentally friendly way of keeping water clean, fresh, and clear. The water is fed through the UV-C system via the swimming pool pump. The UV-C radiation neutralises bacteria, viruses, and other primitive organisms and prevents their reproduction.
Starline UV-C-disinfection has a built-in high-frequency electronic ballast. This ballast compensates flow fluctuations to protect the lamp. The system also has an integrated hours counter that keeps close track of the number of burning hours. You can see exactly when the lamp needs to be replaced. The connection is transparent, so you can see if the lamp is still generating UV light.
Additionally, the stainless-steel interior reflects the UV-C radiation, increasing the efficiency by up to 35%. Starline UV-C-disinfection ensures powerful, effective and safe disinfection of the water.
Use and maintenance are very labour-friendly. Maintenance is limited to cleaning the lamp once a year. The lamp must be replaced after a maximum of 9000 burning hours, yet after 4500 hours disinfection is still at 80% of initial performance.
